Avalanche Industries is a Minimum Advertised Pricing Platform (MAP) that cuts labor and cost. With our service, we eliminate the need to manually sift through ever-changing data. We monitor MAP prices across Amazon, Google, and eBay. We will also build out individualized shopping platforms. In its simplest form, Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) is the lowest price a retailer can advertise their product for sale. To clarify, this does not refer to the lowest price they can sell it for in their store—just the lowest that they can show online or in an advertisement. We monitor when a seller violates this price and inform the client.
It is important for us to detect price changes throughout the day so that we may inform our clientele that a seller is violating their MAP agreement. This allows the client to enforce correct and compliant product prices.
We have handled proxy rotation internally and with 3rd party companies. It has become a hassle to handle in-house and reliability was not up to standard with other services in the marketplace. After trialing Bright Data we felt the public online data was much more reliable and stable.
Our contact, Brandon, has been fantastic and quick to answer any issue that has surfaced. We are very pleased thus far with the platform. We expect a long and meaningful relationship with Bright Data. Our parent company, Avalanche Industries is discussing expanding the partnership for brand management-centric needs.
Looking to the future, as long as the service is reliable and delivers the public online data we need, we will continue to utilize Bright Data permanently. Because our business model is scalable, we expect our usage needs will continue to increase.
