How long have you been at the company?

2+ years

What did you study?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA specializing in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development.

What was your career path before coming to Bright Data?

My main focus has always been on Human Resources, but the world of recruitment caught my attention at some point, and I fell in love with it. I worked at the HR department for Comverse Technology, ‘Pelephone’ and ‘Manpower Professional’.

Tell us about your time at Bright Data

I joined Bright Data over 2 years ago and immediately connected to the Company, its values and activity.  I started as a team member of the Talent Acquisition team and I was promoted to team manager several months ago. We are now a team of 7, myself included. I still do hands-on recruitment as well – I wouldn’t give that up.

What do you look for in an employee?

I look for people who are professionals, who genuinely care for what they do and who are able to see and understand the organization as a whole. Recruitment processes can sometimes be long and frustrating, so I also look for those who are patient and resilient enough to handle this bumpy ride.

I believe that recruitment requires a compassionate approach, combined with a business outlook – the business needs come first, but we need to always put ourselves in the candidate’s shoes and show respect for their effort, value and time.

Recruiters are usually very emotionally involved and affected by their candidates and by the recruitment processes – as I see it, once you stop being affected, you’re no longer in the right line of work.

What's your management style?

I’m very approachable and my door is always open for guidance or assistance, whenever needed.  I trust my team and give them the autonomy to lead the recruitment processes they are in charge of. Alongside that – I expect quality work and I like being involved with the important details of all of our recruitment processes.

Tips to get ahead in your career?

First and foremost, I believe that everyone should do something they are passionate about. Then, be dedicated to staying on top of the game in your area of expertise and always maintain a high work ethic. In addition, take accountability for your professional development, strive for constant improvement and stay on track with what’s happening in the company and the industry.

What has kept you at Bright Data for 2 years?

I believe in what Bright Data does, in the value of our products, the culture, and our leadership team. I love what I do and I feel that I have constant room to grow and develop within my work. And of course – the people!

Favorite part of your job

Favorite part of your job?

Succeeding with a great hire is always exciting but I’ve learned to enjoy the entire recruitment process, including working with the hiring managers and understanding their needs, finding the right leads, meeting the candidates, learning from them, seeing them through the interview process, experiencing the inevitable setbacks combined with the little quick wins along the way, and until the hire is made.

I enjoy leading the team, as well as learning from them, we talk through and analyze the candidates and the processes – it’s an ongoing learning process.
